The director and founder of Learning Events Limited, Jon Blake, is an experienced investigator with over 22 years law enforcement experience; 15 of those years are accounted for in the intelligence, surveillance and training fields.
Jon is a fully qualified trainer and assessor, he is a mentor and assessor at Greenwich University for the PGCE / PCE programme, an affiliate member of the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) and an associate member of the Institute for Learning (IFL). In addition, Jon is a subject matter expert in surveillance authorisation and intelligence issues for a number of organisations.
Current projects include the learning needs analysis, design and delivery of intelligence practitioner and management training for a national organisation and development of a product which informs those authorising activity under part II of the Regulation of Invetigatory Powers act 2000.
Jons other recent work streams are, amongst others, in the arenas of intelligence researcher, operative and management training, specialist photography training, IT audit instruction and the delivery of numerous learning programmes including a National Intelligence model (NIM) training package.
This training has been delivered throughout the UK and worldwide to law enforcement, government, public authority and business audiences.
Learning Events Limited will only engage associate trainers who are highly experienced in design and delivery, are fully qualified and are practitioners in their disciplines with the relevant accreditation where appropriate. All have experience of working in secure and sensitive environments.
